Vektor Labs is a product company in Chennai. Our first product is Kaasa — voice-first billing software for Indian retail.

We started Vektor Labs because shop owners in Tamil Nadu were using billing software written in a language their staff didn't speak, on the assumption that the internet always works. We decided to fix that.

Kaasa is offline-first because power cuts are real. It speaks Tamil because your staff does. It handles GST the way Indian GST actually works, not as an afterthought.

Kaasa is built to work in any Indian language. Tamil and English are live today; Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi are on the roadmap. We'd rather tell you exactly what works now than sell you a list of languages and let you find out at the counter.

We'll build more products. We'll build them the same way — one at a time, and only when the last one works.

We're small, we're in Chennai, and if something breaks in your shop you'll be talking to the people who built it.
